This Privacy Policy explains how CloseIQ ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the CloseIQ service (the "Service").

1. Information You Provide

To use the Service, you submit deal-related content: email threads, prospect replies, notes, engagement details, and optionally uploaded documents such as proposals or contracts. This content may include personal information about you and about third parties (for example, your prospects). You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit that information; with respect to your prospects' data, you act as the data controller and we process it on your behalf to provide the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use submitted content solely to operate the Service: analyzing deals, generating follow-up drafts and sequences, displaying your pipeline and metrics to you, and maintaining your account. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your deal content for advertising.

3. AI Processing

Deal analysis and drafting are performed using established third-party AI model providers. The content you submit is transmitted to those providers solely to generate your results, subject to their data-handling terms. We do not use your content to train our own models, and our providers are contractually restricted from using it to train theirs.

4. Storage and Retention

Deal records and generated outputs are stored on secure cloud infrastructure so your pipeline persists between sessions. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us, and we will remove it within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

The Service uses browser local storage for functional preferences (such as your selected closer style) and, where accounts are enabled, session information. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

6. Service Providers

We share information only with the categories of providers necessary to run the Service: AI model providers, cloud infrastructure and hosting providers, payment processors (we never see or store your full card number), email delivery providers, and font/content delivery networks (which may receive standard request data such as your IP address). A current list of subprocessors is available on request.

7. Google user data

CloseIQ's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We access only the ability to send email (gmail.send) on your explicit instruction. We never read, store, or access your inbox, drafts, contacts, or message metadata. Gmail access tokens are encrypted at rest, used solely to send the follow-ups you authorize, and deleted when you disconnect Gmail. Google user data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. If you are a prospect whose information was submitted by a CloseIQ user, we will refer your request to that user where appropriate and assist in fulfilling it.

10. Children

The Service is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. By using it, you understand your information will be processed in the United States and by the providers listed above.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date above.
